The company have more than 90 agrochemicals of different groups like Fungicides, Bactericides, Pesticides, Herbicides, approved through CIB, New Delhi. The company is also Producing, Processing, packaging and Marketing of all kind of Field Crops & Vegetables seeds (Hybrids & OP).

Suraj Biotech conducts research for seeds improvement at its own farms with most modern infrastructure facilities including poly-houses, net houses, working laboratories, micro irrigation system and all essential agricultural implements.

Key Management of Suraj Biotech Private Limited is a blend of entrepreneurship and progressive professionals. They have very deep knowledge of seed & agrochemical business and practical experience of agriculture and finances in general.

Dr. Shivpratap Singh Kushwah, (Director & Chairman)

Dr. Kushwah is 57 years old and he is the Director & Chairman of Suraj Biotech Private Limited since its inception. He completed his Ph.D in Botany in the year 1990 from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur under guidance of Professor K.P. Sharma and joint guidance of Professor Brij Gopal from SES, JNU, New Delhi and post doctorate fellowship from JNU ,New Delhi under guidance of Professor P.S. Ramakrishnan. He was more interested in application part of science and hence started his career in “Agriculture” in 1992 .

He has more than 20 years of experience as an employee (worked as Area Manager (QC) to General Manager (Sales & Marketing) in leading two seed companies of India . During this tenure, he worked in various departments like Quality Assurance, Production, Product Development & Sales. His last assignment was as General Manager (Sales and Marketing) for central and western states of India. During his career he published many research papers and attended many national and international symposia, workshops and conferences related to his research work as well as Agri industry. He is one of the noted figure of the Indian Seed Industry.

After gaining 20 years of experience in seeds industry, he started his brainchild Suraj Biotech Private Ltd (SBPL). Dr. S. P. S. Kushwah has a Vision of “Shine Together” and Mission to “Alleviate poverty from Rural India by providing quality products at affordable price to farmers” and this lead to incarnation of SBPL. Under his dynamic leadership and techno-commercial entrepreneurial skills, the Company has grown from strength to strength and has emerged as premier private Research & Development based organization of country for Crop Genetics and Hybrid Development. His passion for crop research is reflected through his 29 years of rich experience in the agriculture industry and his continuing zest for newer boundaries to be conquered through advanced Research & Development.

Mr. Martand Singh Kushwah, (Managing Director)

Mr. Martand Singh Kushwah based at Gandhinagar, started his carrier as Civil Engineer. Later, he has joined the business of company as Director alongwith his father Dr. S.P.S. Kushwah. He is Director & CEO of Suraj Biotech Private Limited. He is looking after Procurements, Sales & Marketing portfolio of the organization and as a key person as a whole.

Infrastructure

The Suraj Cropsciences Limited has its seed processing plants located at four places in Gujarat where the seeds are processed, stored and packed with the help of modern machineries and state of the art technology. In addition to our own processing plant company is also hiring custom seed processing and storage facilities in various states to enable proper supply of seeds in time.

Seed production activities are carried out in different agro-climatic conditions in eleven states involving approximately 5000 innovative seed growers.

Our Seed Department Is Having

Quality of seed is ensured through Grow Out Test coupled with rigorous laboratory testing for Germination, Seedling vigour and Genetic Purity. Suraj Cropsciences Limited has three research farms fully irrigated with five tube wells. Poly house of 3105 sq m as containment facility and two net houses each of 800 sq m are erected at main research farm. We have small office cum working laboratory at each farm. Separate laboratories for biotechnology, plant breeding and seed technology with all essential equipments have been developed. Highly qualified and experienced scientific manpower is the backbone of Suraj Cropsciences. The Suraj Cropsciences Limited has started its corporate office at state capital Gandhinagar to develop quick convenient contacts with stake holders.
